Lake Carnegie

Lake Carnegie is a man-made lake located in Princeton, New Jersey. It was built between 1906 and 1907 by Andrew Carnegie, a Scottish-American industrialist and philanthropist, for the purpose of providing a venue for rowing competitions. The lake is approximately 2.4 miles long and covers an area of 338 acres. It is used primarily by Princeton University's rowing teams and the Carnegie Lake Rowing Association. The lake is also open to sailing, fishing, and other recreational activities. The park surrounding the lake offers walking and running trails, picnic areas, and playgrounds.
